BRUNSWICK, Maine - MIT women s track and field junior Maryann Gong (Livermore, Calif.) registered a first place finish and a time of 9:41.34 in the 3000m, the fastest in the nation, which helped the Engineers to victory at the Bowdoin Invitational II yesterday afternoon inside the William Farley Field House.
