Ryan Wilson, a graduate student-athlete at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. set the NCAA Division 3 record in the men's invitational 1,500 meters by clocking a lifetime-best 3:40.06 to place 10th in his section at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University's Cougar Stadium in Azusa, Calif. Wilson, who was 32nd overall among all 1,500 sections combined, eclipsed the 1996 record of 3:41.21 by Karl Paranya of Haverford. Wilson also finished seventh in his invitational section of the 800 meters and 12th overall from all sections combined in 1:47.93.
