In the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) preseason poll that was released on Wednesday, the MIT men s indoor track and field team was ranked sixth in the country. The highest the Engineers had ever been ranked before this was seventh, occurring in both 2010 and 2012. Tech was 16th in last year s preseason ranking.
